The recent global activity in national defense illustrates the shift of actions as well as technologies. The advantages of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and modern computing technologies allow to use new type of attack as well as defense solutions. Military unrest always been the main driver of technologies. Therefore AI application in this area also is very relevant and require attention. Work on ideas for solutions, how AI application and UAV could benefit in defense area.
The direction for the challenge ideas, which could be converted into multiple final thesis or individual project topics is the following:
- Drone automatic route generation for drone swarm flight prediction
- Drone swarm trajectory simulation to verify correct flights – collision avoidance
- Defense ground and air transport objects, weapons detection and classification
- Generation of highly accurate defense objects and different environments in 3D game environments
