We are delighted to announce that the 5th MERIThON, part of the MERIT project supporting digital skills and innovation across Europe, will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania from 1-3 October 2025!
Venue and Time
- Where: Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (address: Saulėtekis av. 11, Vilnius).
- When: 1-3 October 2025. Doors open at 17:00 each day and closes at 21:00.
- Duration: full three-day event packed with challenges, mentoring, and pitches.
New Path in the MERIThON
MERIThON is an innovation ideathon where teams, guided by mentors, develop solutions tackling real-world challenges in digital technology. The focus is on fostering creative ideas, collaboration, upskilling people in advanced digital skills including artificial intelligence related domain.
This year a technical path will be introduced. This path will invite to demonstrate technical skills to develop accurate and performance oriented AI models / solutions. As a traditional AI challenged, participant will have the challenge and data, suitable for model training, while the winner will be selected based on the accuracy and performance results, achieved using dedicated testing dataset.
Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a student, professional, technical expert, or newcomer to the world of digital technologies, there’s a place for you. Teams work together with mentors, and the culmination of the event is a final pitch of the ideas developed or AI model prepared during the MERIThON.
