The study process is one of the fastest to be affected by the development of ICT. The creativity of students bring new self study and cheating ways. The teachers react with new teaching tools as well as adopted student evaluation methods. The AI possibilities can increase the ICT level in study process even more. This challenge invites to find new, innovative ways how the AI-based methods could be incorporated into study process by the tutor.
The direction for the challenge ideas, which could be converted into multiple final thesis or individual project topics is the following:
- Educational content adaptation, recommendation for individual student needs.
- The similarity detections between students’ and text generation tools in open-question answers tasks.
- Computer vision to monitor and analyze student behavior and engagement during lessons.
- The handwritten assignments and tests were evaluated using computer vision.
