MERIT representatives from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) attended the Manufacturing Performance Days 2023 (MPD2023), which took place on the 5-7th June in Tampere, Finland. MPD23 is Northern Europe’s leading technology summit, bringing together manufacturing industries, researchers, and technology as well as international service providers to meet and exchange insights.

IQForum is organising events for business presenters in various Lithuanian regions. The focus on regions is aimed at motivating local businesses to engage in knowledge sharing, networking, and other innovative business activities.

On June 2, MERIT partner Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) participated in an event organised by several Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions (HEI).

In May 2023, MERIT partner Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) offered a training program addressed to IT teachers of secondary schools in Lithuania based on AI teaching.

On May 11, 2023, VILNIUS TECH and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC) held a meeting with ASOINDEL at the company’s headquarters in Santpedor (BCN).

On April 26th, MERIT partner VILNIUS TECH hosted the 2nd International Workshop “Virtual Technologies for improving background knowledge of Engineering Education”.

Some MERIT representatives from VILNIUS TECH participated in a seminar organised by the Lithuanian Roads Association held on the 23rd of March 2023.

The UPC Technology Center (CIT UPC), one of the consortium partners in the Digital MERIT project, presented the UPC’s technological capabilities and avant-garde projects at MWC Barcelona 2023.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, VILNIUS TECH has started an activity aimed at educating secondary school students (from 8th to 12th grade – 14-20 years old) and their teachers in the field of modern technologies.
