LeADS presents MERIT at the European Big Data Value Forum 2023

LeADS participated in the European Big Data Value Forum 2023 (EBDVF), the flagship event of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), which brings together the whole European data-driven AI research and innovation community to share knowledge, collaborate, and celebrate achievements. This year’s edition took place from October 25 to 27 in Valencia and was organized under the auspices of the Spanish European Council presidency, in collaboration with the European Commission and local partners.

On October 27, LeADS took part in the session titled “Empowering Tomorrow’s Workforce: Bridging the Digital Skills Gap through Higher Education and Vocational Training“. The idea was to concentrate on VET and analyze some success stories of VET initiatives to help filling the gap between demand and offer in Advanced Digital Skills. Throughout the event, LeADS also held a booth where some of the LeADS partners’ projects were showcased, and promotional material was distributed. That was the case of the MERIT project, which was represented as well. 

The EBDVF 2023 is also organised in collaboration with INCLIVA VLC (Biomedical Research Institute), ITI (Investigate to Innovate), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universitat Politècnica de València and the European Commission (DG CNECT). It has been granted with the Spanish Presidency Auspice.
