MERIT showcase at the Digital Innovation Zone Conference ‘Digital Transformation 2.0’

The MERIT Project was represented by DIZNE EDIH at the second edition of the Digital Innovation Zone Conference ‘Digital Transformation 2.0’, which was held from 28 to 29 March in Iași, Romania. The event attracted over 400 attendees, including SMEs, public institutions in the field of manufacturing and healthcare (such as hospitals, HEIs, and government, city hall and European Commission officers), EDIHs and DIHs representatives, and students. The conference was a success, fostering discussions and interactions with speakers and SMEs, while also showcasing MERIT dissemination materials as leaflets and roll-up, etc. These efforts effectively captured the audience’s interest and facilitated meaningful engagement with the MERIT project.

The topics regarding the MERIT project that were approached by the SMEs and public institutions in the context of digital transformation aimed to understand how MERIT addresses the specific challenges and opportunities faced by these entities in adopting digital innovations. Discussions centered on the practical applications of MERIT within the manufacturing and healthcare sectors. During the EDIHs and DIHs meeting participants highlighted the importance of having such projects to sustain the industry with well-prepared future employees.

Events like the Digital Innovation Zone Conference proved to be worthwhile for MERIT’s dissemination. The large-scale attendance, diverse mix of stakeholders, and active engagement with participants provided a valuable platform to showcase MERIT’s value proposition and foster connections with relevant organisations. Additionally, this event facilitated meaningful discussions and interactions, enabling MERIT to reach a broader audience and potentially lay the groundwork for future collaborations and partnerships that may enhance the project’s impact.
