What’s a specialised project?
The SPECIALISED Projects in the DIGITAL program, consisting of eight actions under the Advanced Digital Skills objective, are overseen by the LEADS consortium. This leadership role involves leveraging the expertise and training programs of these projects to bridge gaps between communities and initiatives, fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders and Digital Innovation Hubs, particularly targeting SMEs and startups. The overarching goal is to drive innovation and advance digital skills across Europe. The mission includes establishing a vibrant digital ecosystem by bringing together researchers and industries to position Europe as a leader in emerging digital talents. Through strategic partnerships, the focus is on supporting the development of exemplary education and training institutions that promote innovation and digital advancements. Central to this initiative is the creation of a flexible tertiary degree education program, with options for 60, 90, or 120 academic credits, in collaboration with competence centres and industry partners. This collaboration aims to develop and enhance exceptional courses tailored to the evolving digital landscape.
