CIT UPC – Technology Center of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
CIT UPC, the Technology Center of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), is a non-profit entity dedicated to applying the university research capabilities to innovation in business through comprehensive and multidisciplinary technology solutions. CIT UPC works together with the UPC groups and centers that are leaders in applied research and technology transfer to businesses. MERIT is coordinated by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), which has a great expertise in training as well as in applied digitisation to many different sectors. [Text Wrapping Break]Given the extensive experience of CIT UPC in the field of technology transfer developed at the UPC, our role in MERIT is to lead the communication and dissemination activities of the project and its results to the academia, the industry and the general public, to maximise its scope and potential replicability. For this task we have the collaboration of the Digital Innovation Hubs: Associate Digital Innovation Zone (Romania) and the Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park (Lithuania). From CIT UPC we will help to strengthen the participation of companies from the Spanish industrial fabric by collaborating directly with different businesses and clusters, in order to present a master’s degree of reference in this field. Also, we will contribute to the implementation of the European digital strategy and, specifically, to the Spanish one, thus improving innovation capacity and the competitiveness of our economy.
