New Edition of the MERIT Short-term Course: “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence”, starting in September

MERIT, a project co-funded by the EU under the Digital Europe Programme (GA 101083531), and implemented by a consortium of four European universities, SMEs, digital innovation hubs, and research centres, is launching four new master’s programmes and updating an existing one in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the internet of things for the 2024-2025 academic year. The project also offers student grants to increase accessibility and proficiency in advanced digital skills. Through MERIT, students have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with academics and industry professionals across Europe, with placement opportunities and short-term visits available.

To support rapid upskilling in key areas, MERIT offers a programme of short-term courses. We are delighted to announce the launch of a new on-site edition of the “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence” short-term course at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), organised within the framework of the European MERIT project. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to AI and is ideal for individuals with a bachelor’s degree who wish to deepen their understanding of AI and its applications. Participants in the short-term course will join master’s students for one module, benefiting from both the studies and collaboration opportunities.
