National Instruments and Asoindel Collaborate to Drive Innovation and Enhance MERIT Training

On 27 May 2025, MERIT industry partner ASOINDEL hosted the EMEA Lead Partner Manager from National Instruments (NI) for a strategic visit aimed at strengthening their commercial and technical partnership. The meeting began with an in-depth presentation of ASOINDEL’s capabilities in hardware, software, and system integration, followed by a guided tour of its technical facilities.

Special attention was given to the MERIT project, where ASOINDEL has developed a hybrid IoT laboratory using NI equipment for data acquisition and measurement, showcasing a practical and innovative implementation of NI technology in training scenarios.

During the visit, NI presented updates to its Partner Program, including new support tools and regional collaboration opportunities. ASOINDEL provided constructive feedback and shared ongoing business initiatives where NI solutions could play a key role. One of the central discussion points was the potential to enhance collaboration in the training of students involved in the MERIT Master’s programs, exploring ways for NI to participate more actively in educational and lab-based initiatives.

The session concluded with the identification of several joint actions, including co-marketing activities, technical events, and collaborative client engagements. Both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to building a long-term strategic alliance, with a shared focus on innovation, education, and market development across the EMEA region.
