CIT UPC Showcased MERIT Project at Foro Transfiere 2025
The UPC Technology Center (CIT UPC) played an active role at Foro Transfiere 2025, held from 12 to 14 March at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA). Representing the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), CIT UPC took full advantage of the event to showcase its cutting-edge technological capabilities and projects. Among the highlights was the MERIT project, which aims to develop a pan-European educational ecosystem for training digital specialists.
At stand I-12, shared under the Fedit (Federación Española de Centros Tecnológicos) collective stand, CIT UPC presented the MERIT project alongside other leading research initiatives. The stand served as a hub for engagement, fostering collaboration between academia and industry while enhancing the visibility of MERIT’s contributions to digital education. Foro Transfiere, recognised as the southern Europe’s leading forum for innovation and technology transfer, provided an ideal platform for showcasing the project’s potential and connecting with stakeholders in research, industry, and government.
The MERIT project stood out as a strategic effort to bridge the gap between education and the digital economy, equipping future professionals with essential skills to drive technological transformation across Europe.
The promotion of MERIT featured a dedicated brochure created specifically for the forum, along with the project’s leaflet and branded pens.
Foro Transfiere 2025 amplified its impact by facilitating discussions, networking opportunities, and knowledge exchange between experts in science, technology, and business.
