Collaboration opportunities
Collaboration in a key component to gain the speed in development of innovative solutions. MERIT project aims to provide new high level master studies for development of advanced digital skills. It targets to such areas as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Internet of Things. We admit this task is closely related to global market and the need of collaboration is a must achieving it. We are seeking to establish a wide network of partners and using it to achieve benefits for all parties of it.
List of main research-oriented collaboration opportunities

- Propose challenges for MERIThON ideathon/hackathon. Our students have yearly event, dedicated to get ideas for their master thesis. During the event different companies, organizations and event individual persons offer a challenges, which should include advanced digital skills to solve. Students generate the detailed plan and innovative ideas for the challenge solving during the MERIThON event, while later in the master studies continue working on its full implementation. This provide a problem-based learning for them and a chance to get a solution, for the challenge owners.
- Co-supervision of master thesis. In case of MERIThON challenge proposal and students dedication to solve it some consultations could be provided. This could help to clarify the requirements and possible constrains, implementation ideas for the challenge. The students master thesis are supervised by local professors, while additional co-supervisors are invited to join. It could lead into bigger projects, executed in a joint effort between different parties.
- Joint research and projects. We are working on different student experience evaluation and improvements solutions. As well we work on different research areas. To make it more global, we are open for collaboration and working on joint activities.
List of main study-oriented collaboration opportunities
- Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) implementation. We seek to provide a wider knowledge and experience in the key areas (AI, Cybersecurity, IoT) for our students. We invite different lecturers and representatives from digital skill related organizations to have individual lectures, for arranged topics, product demonstrations, etc. This provides not only a wider knowledge for our students, but also mobility at home opportunities.
- Opportunities for our students. We are willing to provide wide range of existing solutions to our students, to make sure they are aware on existing solutions and able to choose a proper ones for certain tasks. Trial versions, academic licenses, dedicated credits to some advanced solutions are welcomed. Provision of access to some systems or services might be an investment to its promotion, making sure the future experts will be aware on the existing solutions and will choose it for further career activities.

Benefits for our partners
We are open on sharing our experience. Each partner might gain differently from the collaboration, while the most common are the following:
- Transfer of know how. We have an experience in different advanced digital skills, its edification and development of new solutions. We are open to share the knowledge and experience.
- Access to student work on your challenges and its implementation. In case you provide an interesting challenge and provide some consultations to define the requirements and constrains for the solution, you can expect to get at least a prototype of the solution. It would be free of charge, presented as a result of students work on his or her master thesis.
- Upskilling in key areas of advanced digital skills. We provide master studies and short-term courses dedicated to prepare high level specialists. Some of it might be accessed remotely. As well some dedicated trainings can be organized contributing to the upskilling in advanced digital skills area.
