Vilnius to host the 8th MERIThON, an AI innovation event open to everyone. Take part!

On 29 and 30 September 2026, Vilnius, Lithuania, will host the 8th edition of MERIThON, an international innovation event linked to the European MERIT project (Master of Science in Smart, Secure and Interconnected Systems) at Saulėtekio Avenue 11, Central Building, 2nd floor.

This edition will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), inviting students, professionals and technology enthusiasts to explore how AI can be applied to real-world challenges through innovative ideas and solutions.

MERIThON is open to everyone, regardless of their level of experience in AI. Participants with technical skills can develop AI-based solutions to a challenge supported by the Neurotechnology team, while those without advanced AI knowledge can contribute actionable ideas on how the technology could be applied.

The event also welcomes those who simply wish to discover the MERIThON experience, learn from other participants and connect with experienced mentors.

Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to form teams of one to five members, collaborate on challenges and develop their ideas in an environment that encourages creativity, teamwork and knowledge exchange.
