Challenge description:
Business management is based on a lot of strategic decisions. The gathered, aggregated data from different sources might help to base the decision on data, trend analysis rather than personal intuitions. Global initiative to open data exists. In this challenge it is important to answer how the existing open data sources could be utilized in company management process. The solutions might be related to search for new partners, decision to expand in certain regions, etc..
The challenge could analyze not only how to use one data source, but how to integrate different data sources or how to process the existing data to get new insights. The main open data portals, which could be analyzed (but not limited) are:
- The official portal for European data (https://data.europa.eu/en)
- Lithuania open data portal (https://data.gov.lt)
